The Program in Teacher Preparation has an incredible alumni network. The network is an amazing community of fellow Tigers who are prepared to make a difference in education. Staying connected to our TPP Alumni network will broaden your access to expert mentors, resources for careers in education, and opportunities for continued professional learning.
Alumni Network
As our Alumni Network continues to grow, we would love to continue building our community and staying up to date with your current endeavors. Please complete our brief Alumni Contact Information Update to stay in touch. We also would love for you to create or update an Alumni Profile to ensure TPP Alumni, Current Students, and Prospective students can see the accomplishments and career pathways of our alumni!
Resources for Careers in Education
Each semester the Program in Teacher Preparation offers our TPP 405 students a job workshop to prepare for a career in teaching or education fields. We are happy to support this process serving as resources and references for our students. Additionally, the Center for Career Development has developed resources to prepare students and alumni for careers in education. We have compiled resources through collaboration with the Center for Career Development to support your career search on the Resources for Careers in Education page.

Each year we match our recent program graduates with Teacher Prep Program alumni who are still in the education field to add to their personal learning network along with support offered by program staff, CIS, cooperating teachers, and their new school. The goal is to broaden the novice teachers' network by connecting them with experienced TPP alumni to ask questions, bounce innovative ideas around, brainstorm solutions, find positive energy, and serve as an additional support in their early teaching years.
If you’d like to serve as a TPP e-mentor, please reach out to: Dr. Jessica Monaghan

The Teachers as Scholars program is a partnership between Princeton University and surrounding schools and districts formed with the objective of providing scholarly and intellectually engaging opportunities for teachers and administrators. Seminars are taught by faculty and staff from Princeton University and span a wide range of topics and subject areas. Each seminar is open to teachers from any grade level or content area as well as district/school-based administrators. Seminars are intended to promote life-long learning for K-12 teachers and administrators. As a Teacher Prep alum, we would like to invite you to attend one seminar, free of cost to you!
Specific dates and topic descriptions are provided on the seminars page and in the current downloadable TAS Brochure on our website.
If you are interested in attending a seminar, please contact Dr. Ashley Taylor Jaffee

QUEST is designed to enhance teachers' data fluency, deepen understanding of STEM concepts, and strengthen connections between STEM research and the real world around us. Each session is co-taught by Princeton University researchers, content experts, and lead teachers. QUEST builds on K-12 teachers' knowledge of science and math content and practices through experiments, field experiences, data analysis, and discourse. These learning experiences aim to increase teachers’ enthusiasm, knowledge, and confidence in teaching STEM topics. We extend the invitation to our Teacher Preparation alum to attend any week of QUEST at no cost to you!
Our summer QUEST Programming details can be found on our QUEST Website.
