2024 Update: Anna is currently a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Anna was a Religion major with a focus on Buddhist Studies in America.  She completed her teaching certification in Social Studies after student teaching in Trenton Central High School during Fall 2018.  She is currently the 7th grade level lead at Aurum Preparatory Charter School in Oakland, CA, a position she took on at the start of the 2021-2022 school year.  She taught US History for the past two years, and taught 8th grade English during her first year.  Building relationships with her students keeps Anna motivated and excited about her work.
