
Adela Ramirez is the Program Coordinator for the Office of Teacher Preparation (TPP). As head of the front desk, she is likely to be the first person to greet you. In her current role, she supports staff with programming, student records, course logistics, and event coordination. She is a part of the Communication and Marketing team and manages the website, social media, and designing and ordering giveaways.
Adela works with member school districts to provide professional development opportunities for their teachers and administrators, as well as programming for their high school students. She works directly with the NJ Department of Education to certify graduates of TPP with a teaching licensure.
Adela graduated from Wesleyan University with her bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Literature and Culture. Through her experience as a cohort member and alumni fellow of the Princeton University Preparation Program (PUPP), she has previous connections with the Princeton community.
Adela grew up in Trenton, NJ, and has a passion for giving back to the community. Currently, she spends her free time volunteering as an English as a second language teacher for adult learners at the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF).
