ADHD: Brain Function & Educational Interventions

On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 Professor Sabine Kastner shared with us her ongoing research within the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and Psychology Department.  Dr. Kaster is both a  Ph.D. and a medical doctor whose interest lies in Educational Neuroscience – research in brain development with practical applications for the public.  Her work empowers teachers, parents and children as they learn about the brain and thereby how to understand themselves better.  Prof. Kaster shared her research regarding the brain’s functioning around attention and the issues of ADHD diagnosis and Interventions.  We also heard about her ground-breaking work including children in the scientific process with Frontiers for Young Minds.
