Princeton University's Program in Teacher Preparation is once again partnering with Math for America (MfA), along with Montclair State University and Rowan University, in offering the NJ STEM Innovation Fellowship; a teacher leader program for New Jersey elementary math teachers and coaches.

The Program in Teacher Preparation is proud to congratulate Ryan Herbert *19, Anna Leader ’18, and Karen Zhang ‘19 for their nomination for the 2020 New Jersey Distinguished Clinical Intern Award. The annual award recognizes the top 15 graduates from the 25 educator preparation programs in New Jersey’s colleges and universities. The award process also acknowledges the work of the teachers who hosted the candidates during their clinical internship (student teaching).

The Program in Teacher Preparation is very proud to welcome its newest staff member, Jessica Monaghan, Ed.D. as the Assistant Director of STEM.  Dr. Monaghan will be advising and supervising mathematics and science students in the program, and she will be serving as an instructor in the TPP 403 and TPP 404 courses.

Mariel van Landingham will support Anna Leader Mariel van Landingham ’16 began teaching English in the fall of 2017 at Millburn HS (affluent and distinguished district).  She was an English major. Anna Leader ’18 completed student teaching in Princeton HS this past fall semester.
