Dr. Ashley Taylor Jaffee, Assistant Director of Social Studies, was recently named Chair of the College and University Faculty Assembly (CUFA) of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). CUFA is an associated group of NCSS and is a space for teacher educators, researchers, and advocates to gather and promote current scholarship, conversations, and collaborations on issues pertaining to social studies teaching, learning, and teacher education. As Chair, Dr. Jaffee will lead the Executive Board, serve as CUFA liaison to NCSS, and advocate on behalf of the CUFA membership. She will also support the planning of the 2023 CUFA annual conference in Nashville, TN. Congratulations, Dr. Jaffee!
