I've learned that no two days are the same as a teacher- the students, and the uncontrollable factor they bring into the classroom, make every day new and exciting.

Since graduating from Princeton, I have been working as a fellow at Woodberry Forest School, an all-boys boarding school in rural Virginia. As a fellow, I teach history, live on dorm, fulfill residential responsibilities, coach climbing, choreograph for the school musical, all while working towards a masters from the Curry School of Education at UVA.

I am passionate about teaching because I value building relationships with others. I particularly value building relationships with young individuals who do not yet know their full potential. As a teacher, I derive endless fulfillment from helping students develop the skills they need to be self-sufficient and thoughtful individuals.
