In September of 2018, I started my 26th year in the Counseling Department of Haddonfield Memorial High School. I continue to appreciate profoundly the opportunity to work at a school that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the best educational institutions in southern New Jersey, the whole state, and even the nation. My duties in the Counseling Department still include supporting counselees in the college-application process, writing letters of recommendation for 60 to 70 students, coordinating the school’s Peer Mentors Program (this program pairs new students with older students to assist the new students in adjusting to high school life), collaborating with administrators to develop our school’s master schedule, and contributing my time to a scholarship committee that annually awards thousands of dollars to HMHS seniors.

In addition, I remain involved in interscholastic athletics by coaching Haddonfield’s male and female tennis teams, serving as president of the South Jersey Tennis Coaches Association, and operating the clock at varsity basketball games and wrestling matches. My tennis players have represented their school and town with great distinction. As a counselor and coach, therefore, I continue to interact daily with outstanding scholars, athletes, musicians, artists, actors and actresses, teachers, administrators, coaches, and parents. The standards at Haddonfield are still formidably high; the challenge of meeting these standards and being worthy of my position in the Haddonfield School District continuously motivates me.
