"Princeton Five" at Millburn High School

Millburn High School is known as:  a) arguably the top public high school in New Jersey, b) the site of the Mall at Short Hills, and c) the habitat for five (5) Princeton Teacher Prep graduates.

Principal Bill Miron '78, John Yi '03, Stephanie Greenberg '04, Angela Bardes '10 and Mariel VanLandingham '16 are instrumental in the education of over 1400 students in this 9-12 institution.

Bill was a math teacher for over 20 years at Millburn prior to moving into administration.  John is the school's AP Chemistry teacher who has also recently introduced a popular Space Exploration elective besides coaching track.  The other three Princeton grads teach English.  Stephanie has focused on American Literature while also teaching the school's Sports Literature elective and mentoring the Academic Quiz Bowl team.  Angela helps produce the school musical when not preparing for an assortment of English electives, including Postcolonial Literature, which she designed a few years ago.  Mariel joined the staff this year teaching exclusively American Literature.

Not many careers are as rewarding as molding the education and lives of high school students.  While the paths of the “Princeton Five” have been quite different after Teacher Prep, they have all found themselves dedicated to teaching at Millburn High.
