Teacher Placement Service

In addition to preparing Princeton students for a career in teaching, we provide a placement service for students and alumni who are interested in teaching in public or private schools. Interested individuals should contact Barbara McCormack at (609) 258-3336 to open a placement file. The file will be used to collect materials that will be sent to potential employers. When a student applies for a teaching position, his or her dossier is sent out from our office at no charge (there is a $25 annual fee to cover expenses such as postage and copying charges for alumni using this service).

During the year, two placement workshops will be held to provide information on resume writing, interviewing techniques and job search procedures. We also invite representatives from independent and public schools to hold interviews on campus. Announcements about workshops and interviews will be posted in The Daily Princetonian and within the homepage announcements.
